Our most popular bike tour lets you visit some of the loveliest places in the Åland archipelago, with accommodation at cosy B&Bs and small hotels.
You start in Mariehamn, where you have a lot of time for the many sights in this port town before you pedal to Saltvik for your first night's accommodation in Åland. Next day you'll visit the medieval Kastelholm castle and the ruins of the Bomarsund fortress before heading to Kumlinge where you are accommodated in a cabin by the sea.
In the tour's third day you travel by island ferries to Kökar in the outer archipelago, where you sleep in a guesthouse in a genuine environment. You'll have a lot of time the next day as well to explore this beloved island before returning by island ferry and bicycle to Mariehamn. There's also an optional visit to Föglö for extra pedaling. Accommodation in comfortable Strandnäs Hotel in Mariehamn.
On the last day you bike along one of Åland's most beautiful roads out to Järsö before returning to Mariehamn.

We book and pay your ships between the islands, so you wont have to worry about them.

Clean sheets and fresh towels are provided at every accommodation, so you don't have to bring this.
Our standard bicycle is a 3-geared 28" bike of the model Helkama Ainotar, made in Finland. Comfortable to ride and with a basket in the front. This model can be upgraded to 7 gears for €30
We also have 24" kid bikes of the model Helkama Jopo, with 3 gears. This classic children's bicycle is the most popular model in Scandinavia.
If you travel with your own bicycle we will give a discount on the price.
Bike panniers with a capacity of 20 litres are included. Your empty bags can be kept when you collect the rental bikes, or stored in safe lockers in the Mariehamn ferry terminal.

This is our newest cycling tour, for those of you who want plenty of time for relaxation and less schedule to keep track of. At the same time, you will have plenty of time to explore the different places you visit and time for peace and quiet if you wish. The cycling is also less physically demanding than on our other cycling trips.
This package tour includes the boat trip to the starting point Mariehamn, where you spend the first night in a hotel. From Mariehamn, you cycle and take a ferry to the Föglö archipelago, where you stay for two nights at historical guesthouse Enigheten. From Föglö, you then continue to the island of Kökar in the outer Åland archipelago. Here, you also have two nights at Klobbars Gästhem, and plenty of time to take a boat trip to Källskär, or sunbathe, swim and enjoy good food.
After cycling back to Mariehamn, you have another night here and all the time you need to get to know the small port town and its surroundings.

This tour gives you a complete experience of all the best things in Åland! You start in the town of Mariehamn and bike through the countryside to the port of Svinö. From there you bring your bikes on a ferry to the Föglö Islands, where you will stay your first night.
The next day you continue on bike and by ferry out to the mystical Kökar island in the outer archipelago for your second night, sleeping at a Brudhäll Hotel in Karlby.
From Kökar the tour continues through the inner archipelago to Kumlinge, where you stay in seaside cabins. On your fourth day you will visit the Kastelholm castle and the Bomarsund fortress ruins on your way back to Mariehamn. Your last night in Åland is spent in Mariehamn and you will stay in a comfortable hotel room. The next day you still have the bikes to go on an optional day tour to beautiful Järsö - or stroll in maritime town Mariehamn.

Biking along the popular Archipelago Trail in Finland, around Nådendal (Naantali), Gustavs (Kustavi), Korpo and Nagu (Nauvo). Idyllic roads combined with passages on the blue and yellow island ferries that work their way from port to port among the thousands of islands.
You'll start in Nådendal - rich in history and small streets. From there you continue over islands, bridges and with ferries to the little Velkuanmaa island. The next day is spent biking through Gustavs on your way to the Iniö island.
Day three you continue by ferry to biking paradise Houtskär. After that you cross three islands connected by bridge and ferries onward to Korpo. Here you spend the night in a nice B&B.
On the fourth day you continue biking to Nagu (Nauvo) and from there you can choose to bike to Nådendal and Turku - or take the bicycle ferry directly from Nagu to Turku. In Turku you'll relax for a night in a centrally located hotel.

This tour is made for those who want to experience a lot of nature and islands. You start the journey from Turku and bike through the archipelago of Finland before island hopping to the northern Åland archipelago for continued biking among islands, skerries, seals and ferries.
On the trip you will be accommodated in cosy guesthouses and hotels on different islands. You will also visit historic sights, such as the Kastelholm castle before arriving in port town Mariehamn. From there you continue trough the southern Åland archipelago to the famous island of Kökar for an overnight visit. Next day another ferry takes you to Galtby and you continue by bike to Nagu, staying there for one day before heading back to Turku. Naantali Spa Hotel can be added as a luxurious break on this tour!

This is the best value for your money bicycle tour you can find in the Åland Islands, letting you experience the archipelago, the town Mariehamn and the main attractions during four days. You start from Mariehamn and bike across the main island until you reach Svinö. From there you go by island ferry to Föglö, where you stay for one night. Next morning you discover Föglö, crossing it by bike and jumping on your next ferry to Kumlinge, right in the middle of Åland.
From there you continue north, through the inner archipelago, until you reach Vårdö, where you stay your second night. On your third day you will visit the Bomarsund fortress ruins, as well as the Kastelholm castle on your way back to Mariehamn. After all of this you will relax in Mariehamn for one night in a comfortable hotel. The next morning you still have time to visit Järsö by bicycle.
We book your ships between the islands, so you don't have to worry about them.

One of our most popular routes is now avaiable with start in Mariehamn instead of Turku With eight days and seven nights, this is the largest bicycle tour on offer in the region. You will experience the entire archipelago of the Åland Islands, as well as the Finnis archipelago aroung Nauvo, Turku, Kustavi and Naantali - with everything it has to offer. At the same time, you will also get to feel the city life in Finland's oldest city, Turku, and the Åland port city of Mariehamn.
In total, you will cycle 265 km in a large loop around the archipelago, traveling from island to island using the same ferries as the locals: a total of 15 ferry crossings during the trip – ranging from 5 minutes to 3 hours at sea. We have selected hotels and guesthouses of good standard, which we believe are the best fit along your route.
