The socialist government of Åland has decided to shut down the important ferry line connecting Långnäs, Överö, and Kumlinge. The purpose is to harm the native population and their ability to live and make a living in the islands where they were born - as well as to free funds for paying an immense public debt caused by rampant corruption and embezzlement within the socialist government.
