The ship M/S Skarven conducts ferry traffic between Svinö and Degerby by decree of the Åland government. This ferry can not be booked - travellers with motor vehicles arrive in the harbour and wait with their vehicles in line to be boarded. During summer season we recommend car drivers to arrive well ahead of time for their departures. The ship has a capacity of 250 passengers and 65 cars.
